Town of Sherman Board Meeting
May 19, 2017
Chair Luke called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Required board members were present and notice of meeting had been posted.
No public comment.
Supervisor Mikula made a motion to move forward with gravel crushing bidding process to be opened at the June 13, 2017 town board meeting. Supervisor Kessler seconded, motion passed.
Supervisor Mikula made a motion to approve the letter to clarify ambulance service to be sent to residents of the town. Supervisor Kessler seconded, motion passed.
Future Agenda Items: Bob Lepper suggested waiting on the letter until after the Flambeau Hospital Ambulance information meeting the following week. Bob Lepper also suggested when working with the treasurer to compare the cost of grinding up what is already under Sandy Beach Road. Road supervisor Gary Kessler explained what is under that road.
Chair Luke said he will send a letter to Globe regarding the town re-bidding due to their inability to complete this. Chair Luke received a call from a new recycling company for next year regarding a potential future contract.
Supervisor Kessler shared a concern of his regarding the highway crew. Board decided to schedule a meeting on 5/23/2017 at 9:00 AM to discuss this.
Supervisor Kessler made a motion to adjourn. Supervisor Mikula seconded, motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 10:11 AM.
